Education on the body language of canines as it relates to other animals/dogs and human in their world, observation and interpretation of ‘dog speak’. Participants should be prepared to bring shot records for canine to class. For pups ages 3 months to 2 years old maximum. Proof of appropriate puppy vaccinations and bordatella vaccination is required to attend.

Canine Manners - 108814

Are you the top dog in your home, or is your dog the one who runs the show? Be the master of your domain once again by enrolling Fido in this beginning course to help you gain control! This course will cover basic training in come, sit, down, greeting strangers, stay, and heel along with basic behavioral conditioning to establish pack order in the household. Ages 10 and up. This class will use Pattie Graver’s book, “Next Steps in Weaving” to study one of the following weave structures - Over Shot, Summer Winter, Shadow Weave or Lace. Students will weave samples that can be made into mug rugs or coasters, then can continue onto a bigger project in future classes of “Individual Study”. A material fee of $20.00 will be paid to the instructor to cover the cost of yarns and miscellaneous materials. The book may also be purchased from the instructor. Advanced Beginning Weaving - 112220

This class is a continuation of Beginning Weaving. Students will dress their loom as in beginning weaving and weave a sampler of basic twill weave structures and a small hand towel or table runner of their choice, or they can weave a scarf using Pattie Graver’s book, “Next Steps in Weaving” A material fee of $20.00 - $30.00 (depending on project) will be paid to the instructor to cover the cost of yarns and miscellaneous materials.
